CWT Training Academy offers Certifications and Trainings that often have associated workshops or can be combined to create a school, progressive learning environment, and even master certifications.

Course Types

CERTIFICATIONS

Certifications are often 8 - 40 hours of content, including an exam, and potential exercises and assignments.


A Resource Library of materials is available with each certification course. Upon completion, you receive a certificate and your certification expiration date, along with special offers for continuing education, PUDLE Gear support and product discounts and other course related materials.

Certifications are state specific and/or career enhancing certifications developed with you in mind. Our certification and recertification courses meet ASTM and/or regulatory body requirements that will satisfy permit criteria, assist in your career growth, and/or satisfy prerequisites for more advanced programs.


Our Certifications can build upon each other to create geographic or discipline-specific master certifications.

TRAININGS

Trainings are often 30 minutes to 4 hours of content, including knowledge checks, resources, and potential exercises.


The topics are often more defined, and the content goes into more detail in a specific area. You will receive a certificate of completion, special offers for other courses, PUDLE Gear support and product discounts, and other course related materials.

Trainings are often combined into Bundles and Schools of related topics for cost savings and educational purposes. Tools and reference materials are found in the Resource Library for you to download, print, or refer to.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops are most often a component of a Training or Certification, although in some instances can be done independently.

These can be hands-on activities or how-to instructions on different topics. Many of these workshops are Live/In-Person.

Educational Program Models

Think outside the traditional educational pathway...

These are not your traditional style courses where you sign up and complete and it is done.


They offer a more interactive, in-depth and progressional learning platform often over a longer period of time.

SCHOOLS

This model provides a defined curriculum in an area of learning that can be completed in a single year or over multiple years.


There is an ability for the Learner to become a graduate of the school and receive a certificate of completion for their efforts.


The Learner can utilize their graduation status to help accelerate their career path.



Course Examples:

PROGRESSIVE LEARNING

Some of the courses have content that is progressively released over time, whether that be on a schedule or based on completion of an exercise or defined task. Learners often create a foundation of program development as a result of course completion.


For example, a section of the course will be released every 7 days and during that period of time Learners  must complete assignments or exercises and interactions with the instructors before progressing to the next section.

MASTER CERTIFICATIONS

For those seeking a deeper knowledge base within a topic area, CWT Training Academy has developed defined paths with prescribed courses that Learners can complete within a time frame that matches their career goals.

Example: CESCL, CISL, PSCIC Combo

REGIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

Regional certifications are cross-jurisdictional certifications of the same discipline. In one training event, a Learner can be certified in multiple jurisdictions within the defined region.

Example: CESCL, ICSI, MT-SWPPP Administrator

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

Professional certifications are multi-disciplinary certifications of practices that your business is involved in. Paths of certification are defined by your business practice and regulatory influences.
